Meet Look What SHE! Did
Look What SHE Did! is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring women and girls by bringing to light the stories of remarkable women who changed the world. Through short films and events, the organization features female storytellers celebrating the women who inspire them, making women’s history accessible, engaging, and free to share.
Founded by Julie Hébert, Jill Klein, Farrel Levy, and Courtney Graham (pictured), Look What SHE Did! emerged in 2014 after the founders discovered the legacy of Clara Shortridge Foltz, the first female lawyer in California and the visionary founder of the U.S. public defender system. That discovery sparked a broader mission to uncover the countless influential women missing from public history.
Since incorporating as a nonprofit in 2015, Look What SHE Did! has produced more than 150 short films spotlighting trailblazing women across history, creating a growing archive that encourages curiosity, confidence, and perseverance in women and girls everywhere.
